This Privacy Policy explains how ApexBody ("the App"), published by Fuad Smith, handles information when you use it on iOS.
None. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, account information, identifiers, location, contacts, or analytics about you.
Workouts, meals, macro targets, streaks, and your display name that you enter into the App are stored only on your device. We never receive or see this data.
Subscription processing for Apex Pro is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
The App stores your fitness data, preferences, and subscription status locally using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
If you enable Apple Health sync, data is read from and written to your local HealthKit store. ApexBody does not transmit your Health data anywhere. Apple's HealthKit framework keeps this data on your device and in your iCloud Health backup (controlled by your iOS settings).
The AI coaching prompts shown in the Apex Pro Coach tab are generated locally on your device from your stored fitness data using a rule-based engine. No data is sent to any external AI service for coaching.
The App makes no third-party network calls other than Apple's StoreKit (for subscription processing). There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking technology of any kind.
The App is intended for users aged 17 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Apex Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly ($9.99/month) or yearly ($59.99/year) subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. The standard Apple EULA applies: EULA.
